My 2016 Mazda6 i Touring became mine four years ago today. October 10, 2015. Bought it with 6 miles. Now has just over 44,000 miles and will be transporting us back home to Kentucky from Florida first thing Saturday morning.
No issues to speak of aside from a loose trunk trim piece that was replaced under warranty and an odd seat upholstery issue (also fixed under warranty). The brakes wore out faster than I preferred, as you all know , but my replacement Raybestos ones have been fine.
Enjoy the first and most recent photos I have.

Those 6s are really great looking cars, especially in that blue.

Congrats! I’ve had my 3 four years ago this June but I just hit 30k last week. Did you get the extended warranty notification on the infotainment system too?

I was just thinking the other day, it’s been about 4 years since I bought my 128i.

So the upholstery problem was finally fixed to your satisfaction, then? I seem to remember that you had to go a few rounds with Mazda about it.

Gratz, fellow Mazdaphile! Here's to another four years.

Nope! So the car itself reminded you of an extended warranty?

Nope. But, it didn’t spread beyond the one tiny spot, so I gave up fighting about it.

Thanks! I agree. Mazda calls it “Deep Crystal Blue.”

Sigh. Yes, we have to pick our battles.

No sorry haha, I got a letter in the mail the other day. It seems some of the infotainment centers in the 3s have been going haywire , I’m not sure if it affects the 6s.

Oh! Nope. I haven’t gotten anything. The only issue the 6s seem to have is the screen delaminating from the inside. My theory is sun damage. I keep a sunshade up when the car isn’t in the garage, and I think that has helped.
